Courses in Wood Turning in the SW of France.

The idea of the site is to promote an activity holiday for families, singles and couples.
Courses are designed to offer wood turning tuition for 5 consecutive half days or two and a half days respectively to enable you to also have time to explore the beautiful surrounding area of the Dordogne/Lot region in France.

The fees include tuition, the use of lathes and equipment as well as materials.

However participating in an activity is of course optional you may just want to relax by the pool and read a book or you may just want to explore this very beautiful region; it is up to you.

We are on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Le Vigan (five kilometres from Gourdon) in stunning rural countryside with lots of country walks.

Sample the flavour of French life, food and wine.  There is a fishing lake nearby and shops, supermarkets and restaurants in Le Vigan and Gourdon.

Le Vigan is set in the “Golden triangle” bounded by Sarlat, Souillac and Gourdon.

Accommodation is provided and is charged separately from the wood turning tuition fees.  Other activities can be arranged with sufficient notice.
